da betsul: The 2023 Women's World Cup is set to kick off on July 20 and data has now revealed the top ten Instagram influencers bound for the tournament. While the U.S. women's national team boasts some of the most recognisable players in the women's game, it's a player from a less-fancied nation that has claimed the No.1 spot.
As the sport continues to grow, so many female stars have amassed huge followings across social media, with data analysts Gracenote Nielsen putting together a list of the most influential names on Instagram.
Based on number of followers, the rate at which that number has grown, engagement with posts and the value of each branded post on the platform, here are the names that came out on top…

The Chelsea star has seen her profile grow immensely since her move to England from the Chicago Red Stars, as she regularly delivers trophies for one of the women's game's biggest clubs.
Back home in Australia, one of this tournament's co-hosts, she is one of the biggest names in sport, even given the honour of bearing her country's flag at the coronation of King Charles III earlier this year.

At club level, Karchaoui won the Champions League with Lyon in 2020 and the Coupe de France at Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.
Such success on the pitch has helped her to secure some top brand deals, resulting in her landing her ninth on this list.
