Carvalho made four Premier League starts for Liverpool last season but was ostensibly loaned to Leipzig to receive further first-team minutes within a different environment, which has yet to happen consistently. As a result, reports that Liverpool are considering recalling Carvalho – a move that could then allow them to loan him out again in January.
